Antwerp, Belgium

I think Belgium must have been the second country I've traveled. It's located next to my own country the Netherlands. It's only a two hour car drive from Amsterdam to cross the border. A year ago I've visited a friend who studies abroad in Antwerp, Belgium.

I must honestly say that Antwerp has the cutest pubs and that the night- and studentlife are amazing there. It's an amazing cute city where you can even rent a bike everywhere, just like Amsterdam, haha..

St. Petersburg, Russia

When I was planning on traveling to Finland my best friend decided that she wanted to go to Russia... Since I'm addicted to traveling I said yes. So; if you ever want to do this too, it takes a lot of time, patience and money. We traveled from Amsterdam, the Netherlands to The Hague, the Netherlands; where the Russia ambassade is located. It took us three months, 110 euros and a lot of stress until we had our visa! For 24 hours... We traveled with a bus, an 8 hour ride from Helsinki, Finland to Sint Petersburg, Russia and back... 31th country...

One important advice for traveling to Russia, the people there sadly often don't speak English, so we learned some important words and sentences we really needed, before we came to Russia.

It was raining, stressful, a short stay and the people weren't always that kind to us. But I wouldn't want to spent it with another person than this girl. I'm glad she came with this idea.. Russia, Poetin, Vodka, we did it.

And it's kinda beautiful...

I always say, travel is the only thing we buy that makes us richer... It was worth it, hope to see you again sometime Russia...

Helsinki, Finland

In August 2016 I flew to Helsinki, Finland. 30th country... My best friend Samantha wanted to travel to Scandinavia with me. I said well, I've been to Norway, Sweden and Denmark. So she said let's go to Finland then!

Finland is expensive... the people are kind but the language, we didn't get a word what they said! We first got some food and some huge beers :)

I took a beautiful picture in the air..

Amsterdam, the Netherlands

I grew up in a small village near the coast, but when I was 19 years old I moved to Amsterdam to study there. I lived a few years with a friend in Amsterdam East. When we couldn't rent there anymore I moved for 6 months to Amsterdam West. But then I got the opportunity to live next to Amsterdam central station... So I did... I live in the heart of the city now, Amsterdam center :) I'm in the center for living and my work at a souvenir shop. But I'm even that much in Amsterdam East still since my boyfriend lives there and my university is located in Amsterdam East too.

All pictures are taken my be. I'm just kind of addicted...

So this is my first country on the list... And my favorite one still...

I can only recommend to wander along the city, to drink a beer at the local bars, to get stoned at a coffeeshop since marihuana is allowed in the Netherlands, to see the red light district, to party at Leidseplein, to chill in the Vondelpark and to visit some famous museums ofcourse... haha.

Just meet some locals, I mean it's hard but try to.. Get a coffee at a cute shop and don't rent a bike as a tourist.. haha. This is my city, the city that I'll always come back to, that I call home and the city that'll stay my favorite one.

Riga, Latvia

Well, hello there :) The 29th country I've visited was Latvia.. Sadly I've only spend something like a day in total in Riga. What's also a bit sad is the fact that I didn't take a lot of pictures... I traveled with my best friend Samantha in August this year to Latvia. We flew with Baltic Airlines which is cheap and good and we arrived very quick and without a delay in Riga. Riga has a lot of amazing shots of alcohol and has a pretty old city center. But a lot further than this I sadly didn't get to learn about the city and country.

Dublin, Ireland

My 28th stop of countries was in May this year in Ireland. I decided to go on a holiday alone for the first time ever. And the stop was: Dublin. First of all, Dublin is amazing for alone traveling. The people are amazing, they are so kind, and of course they speak English everywhere so you'll understand everything and you'll be able to tell a lot to them too :) Next to that, there's wifi everywhere, free wifi :) Because I got lost a few times.. But with wifi I could search on the internet really quick how to get back to where I wanted to be. With Ryanair you're quick & cheap in Dublin :)

I would recommend to wander along the river, see the beautiful flowers and pubs. Meet the lovely people and drink a lot of guinness beer :)
